Miriham Antonio is a third-year law student at the University of California, Irvine School of Law, specializing in civil rights and criminal defense. She is set to graduate in May 2025. She earned her bachelor's degree magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2020.
Miriham has gained extensive legal experience through externships and pro bono work. She externed with the civil division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California and later with Chief Judge Emeritus Philip S. Gutierrez of the U.S. District Court. In law school, she has dedicated herself to pro bono service, working with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Mississippi Center for Legal Services, and the UCI Criminal Justice Clinic, where she assisted in representing clients in criminal defense cases.
Beyond her legal work, Miriham is deeply involved in leadership and advocacy. She serves as the Student Vice-Chair of the Mexican-American Bar Association and sits on the board of the Latina Public Service Academy, an organization committed to empowering Latinas to pursue careers in public service and leadership.
