Mr. Contreras has a robust law practice in the areas of civil rights, personal injury, trials and criminal defense. Mr. Contreras litigates a broad range of cases primarily focused on wrongful death cases and civil rights cases affecting constitutional rights. On average, Mr. Contreras takes at least seven (7) cases to trial per year. Mr. Contreras has also successfully prevailed at the Ninth Circuit of Appeals. Mr. Contreras is the principal of the Law Offices of Christian Contreras, PLC which is a multi-attorney firm.

Mr. Contreras currently serves on the board of directors for the following non-profit organizations: East Los Angeles College Foundation, Protesters Defense Alliance, Mexican American Bar Association, Peoples College of Law, and Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities Mr. Contreras also serves as the legal advisor for the League of United Latin American Citizens.
