Sherman Oaks, CA - Chain-Reaction Crash Involving Eight Vehicles Injures Three on Ventura Boulevard

Sherman Oaks, California (September 4, 2026) - Just before 4:30 p.m., a chain-reaction crash involving at least eight vehicles left three people injured on Ventura Boulevard, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

Crews responded to the 15100 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Noble Avenue, after the pileup. Aerial footage from the scene showed at least eight vehicles damaged and scattered across the roadway, surrounded by fire department units.

Three people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the fire department. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the crash was not a hit-and-run. The cause has not yet been determined.
