This is a developing story. Details may change as the investigation continues.
A pickup truck striking a passenger bus raises more than one line of responsibility, especially with dozens of riders on board.
Under California law, personal injury claims must generally be filed within two years of the crash. For this collision, that deadline falls on September 27, 2028 (CCP 335.1).
Getting jolted awake by a crash you never saw coming, whether you were driving or just riding home for the night, is its own kind of shock that takes time to process.
Our Santa Clarita truck accident attorneys have handled commercial vehicle crashes across Southern California and have recovered more than $200 million for injured clients.
The bus's onboard data and the pickup's own recorders, if either vehicle carries them, are worth preserving now, before that information ages out of storage.
We take these cases on contingency, so nothing is owed unless we recover for you.
