Reseda, CA - Six Hurt as Two Cars and Metro Bus Collide on Sherman Way

Reseda, CA (September 18, 2026) - Six people were hurt Friday morning when two cars and a Los Angeles Metro bus collided in the Reseda area of the San Fernando Valley, according to the Los Angeles Police Department and LA Metro.

The crash was reported around 9:45 a.m. in the 18300 block of West Sherman Way, near Lindley Avenue. Investigators said the Metro Line 162 bus was stopped at a bus stop when it was struck on its rear left side by a vehicle that had just been in a separate collision.

Six people were evaluated at the scene, LAPD said. Metro confirmed the bus operator and a passenger who uses a wheelchair were both taken to a hospital, though their conditions were not immediately known.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation Friday. No arrests had been reported.
