Oxnard, CA - Two Dead, Five Hurt in Violent Seven-Vehicle Crash on Victoria Avenue

Oxnard, CA (September 25, 2026) - Two people were killed and five others were hurt Friday afternoon when seven vehicles collided at a Ventura County intersection, according to authorities.

Police and firefighters responded to the crash near Victoria and Doris avenues around 3:55 p.m.

At the scene, officials found seven victims. Two were pronounced dead.

Four people were taken to hospitals. One was hospitalized with serious injuries, two with moderate injuries, and one with minor injuries. A seventh person was treated at the scene and released.

Aerial footage from the scene showed a line of wreckage leading to severely charred debris at the front of the crash. Two cars also appeared to have been hit by downed light poles during the collision.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Oxnard Police Department.
