Camarillo, CA - Oxnard Man Dies in Early-Morning E-Bike Collision on Las Posas Road

Camarillo, California (July 18, 2026) - An Oxnard man died after an early-morning collision involving his e-bike, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies from the Camarillo Patrol unit responded around 2:20 a.m. on the morning of July 18 to a report of an injury traffic collision in the 3900 block of Las Posas Road. At the scene, deputies found the man's e-bike in one of the traffic lanes and located him nearby in the center divider. Despite lifesaving measures, he died from his injuries at the scene, authorities said.

Investigators have not yet confirmed whether another vehicle was involved in the collision or whether it was a solo crash. The cause remains under investigation.
