Baldwin Park, CA (September 21, 2026) - A semi-truck crash shut down lanes of the 605 Freeway near Ramona Avenue in Baldwin Park Monday morning, according to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported around 9:23 a.m. on the morning of September 21, 2026, when a southbound semi hauling a trailer struck the center divider. Diesel fuel leaked onto the southbound No. 3 and No. 4 lanes, causing vehicles to hydroplane.

Concrete debris from the divider reportedly landed in the northbound lanes. A northbound semi-truck may have struck that debris and become disabled, though further details on that vehicle were not released.
